    Ode to Ol' Christine

     2000 Saturn
    Plum and fair
    I refused to name you
    For over a year

    I finally decided
    What I will name this thing
    It's old Christine
    From Stephen King

    You worked fine for a while
    Then kids let ur air out
    Then a nail cut some tires
    And I wanted to shout

    Ol' Christine your AC broke next
    In the record heat
    2011 Kansas Summer
    Records from 1932 we beat

    Next you've started
    Only when you please
    Sometimes an hour others a week
    Sometimes after one try you little tease

    Then you shut off 
    Halfway down the road
    You tried to kill me
    And today with a full car load

    Ol' Christine
    Do you like the name?
    I think its fitting
    Yes you're to blame

    Nice. I know it's completely different but I had a teddy bear when I was little but didn't name for years. Then when I did, the eyes started falling off and the legs haha. Anyway, great write! -sk8
