    Ode To Rain

    As i sit an listen
    to the rumble above
    i can't help but wonder
    what happen to love
did it dry up with the sun
    then quenched by the rain
was it too much to handle
    did it wash away
did it bloom in the night
    and vanished by day
    did it see too much
    and cause it pain
    yet optimistic
    i still pray
    that love will return
    each time it rains

    thank you

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
