Ogre
Burly and gnarled
Solitary Ogre
holding fast
the earth below
Fierce wind growling
lone wolf howling
to argue the plight of
driven snow
Tempest hewes
rippling limbs
Seasons turn
then begin
Leaves do bud
and fall again
Can you hear
the crying?
Thirsting roots
that beckon rain
A tree alone
the Plateau Plain
