          The Other Side Of Venus

    In a time long gone by
      I saw Venus in her eyes
    She was an angel
      So easy to me
     
    If I could meet her tonight
      and I could make it all right,
    on the other side of Venus,
      is where I wanna be ..
     
    Now I ...
       can't look at Venus anymore
    I don't know  why
      I had to walk out that door
    But I would follow that star
      to get back where you are
    On the other side of Venus,
                          ... ever more
      Where I can see Venus,
                      ...  in your eyes.
     
    I used to stare up at the sky
      I used to cry and ask why
    am I not worthy? ...
      am I living a lie?
     
    These faded memories,
      was I too blind to see?
    She's on the other side of venus
      so far from my reach.
     
    Now I  ...
     can't look at Venus anymore
    I'd rather die,
       than to walk out that door
    I don't know who won the fight,
      but we both lost the war
    Now we don't meet at Venus ...
                            ...  anymore
      And I can't see Venus...
                       .... in her eyes
