On the Path to Success
I had my ups and downs.
Now it is time for me to raise up and be the man that I am on the inside.
I should not have to be apprehensive about anything.
Therefore, I have my destiny in my foresight.
I will not be hindered, deliberated, or shifted.
I will conquer myself, and no one, but God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will stop me.
Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
