    Once In My Life

    For once in my life
    I haven't a clue.
    For once in my life
    I don't know what to do.
    For once in my life I tripped and fell
    now I feel like I'm living in hell.
    For once in my life
    I chose to give in.
    For once in my life
    I couldn't win.
    For once in my life
    I closed my eyes
    Now I feel like I could die.
    For once in my life
    I released my heart.
    For once in my life
    I fell apart.
    For once in my life
    I gave it my all
    This time, I made a bad call.
    Now in this life I'm left astray
    And my heart is quietly put away.
    There it will be until again,
    my heart can meet another friend.

    Friendship betrayal is the worse hurt of all. Especially if your friend had become your love interest. Interesting and heart tugging poem. 10

    Another amazing piece that leads the reader on an emotional rollar coaster of pain. Sometimes we find that if we give to much of ourselves to another that nothing but the pain and torment of nightmares remain. To open one's heart and soul to such an extent leaves oneself naked and vulnerable to the demons of the night. As your heart is quietly put away it is froozen in time with the torment and anguish of the coldhearted winter's breeze, paralized in pain. I wish i could say i can't relate but I have lived in such a hell for many years, me and the devil are on a first name basis and the pits of hell I used to use as a swimming pool, lol. Great poem! You bring the reader into your heart's sake. Your poetry is more than mere words to a apage, it is life in motion... Purity of the soul, Journey well!!! Angel
