One Lone Heart
A heart confusedBlind and bruised
Over and again it's hurt
And left in the dirt
Broken and shattered
Treated like it hadn't mattered
A confused heart no longer here
With no one to shed a tear
One Lone Heart
A heart confusedPoetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
