    • YEAH! Just found out I'm going to have a baby! Well, technically my wife will, but I'll be there to make inappropriate jokes!

    One Man's Surrender

The geometry between us is convoluted and insane
Minds eye creating, tormenting, all in vain
Succubi feast on it's wake in an orgy of pain and rage
all within one man's fragile abstraction
create, destroy, rebuild... it doesn't matter
love, lose, forget... none of it mean's a thing
lie, scream, fall... as the succubi sing
LOAD, COCK, FIRE... shallow thoughts splatter
Crooked grins filled with bullets aimed straight for my heart
I shouldn't known after all, and been prepared from the start
I find the wound within my chest and begin to tear apart
peeling away all my layers, pulling out all the unheard prayers
Dizzy now, draining myself of this blackened soul
I open up wider and thrust into the hole
As I rip out this vile creature beating inside all my sins unfold
screaming all my blasphemies, weeping ALL of my failures
create, destroy, rebuild... it's all a crock of shit
love, lose, forget... it doesn't mean a thing to me
lie, scream, fall... as my succubus turns away and screams
REMOVE, SHARPEN, INSERT... callous emotion drips
Now follow the trail I've torn in the earth
Destroying and draining since the day of my birth
Discover the misery buried underneath this shallow dirt
raping and pillaging to fill the hollow in my own thoughts
And as I paint the walls I can't help but to weep
At what I've done to myself, what I've allowed others to do TO me
Follow the trail of blood, and you'll find me finally at peace
x marks the spot where my failures stop.
We'll be together again one day, deep in hell

Astounding. I loved it. and it should be rated higher.

This is real. Anger is real, coming from confusion, fear, distrust, and being lied to. Now, clear the anger and conjure your soul (subconscious energy), bring it forth and let it speak, guide, and lead you into the new.

Wow-I have some pretty dark poems also I can only hope that it is a release for your pain and not a cry for help.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
