    One Night In April

I will be waiting for you by the water
    there we shall embrace
    in our secret hiding place

I will stand neath a blanket of stars
looking out at the river wide
    when you arrive

Like the river our love will flow
    neath the pale moon
    soon very soon...

You will be standing next to me
    your eyes full of romance
as we partake in a lovers dance

Oh I can hardly wait for your kiss
    to feel your warm breath
    your sweet caress

    Flesh against flesh
    our bodies meet
    playing a song sweet

    Lovers engaging
    passion raging

    Wanting needing
    aching pleading

    One night in April...

    One night in April...

    I will be waiting...

    Come

Wow... Nicely written. Thank you. I just hope I can start writing more poems like I used to. I think the artistic side of me is starting to die...

whoa...........ok......that is quite peaceful and creative....its a unique piece of work

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
