    One true happiness

A miracle, a present, a growth in my body
A seeds natural response is to grow and bloom
    It did
Arms and legs, a blessed scream to my surprise
    A child I had grown
My garden, the soil was fertile, a life I will raise
    Eyes as mine
    Trials, tribulations, joy, bliss
    God gave me a angel
    A pure innocence human
So I shelter him, so no one can corrupt
    Looking at him in amazement
Looking at him through these eyes now open
I pray life will treat him well or I pray he will walk on it and make the world his own
    Mamma's Boy

Very good, poems about children are great and make you think, there about you and me, we were there once, keep writing ...

Quite a lovely poem expressing the rainbow of emotions one feels for the love of her child. This poem drew tears to my eyes at the hope that one day I will live to feel this way. The joy of bringing something so beautiful and pure into this world. Until then I hold out hope that one day life will allow me to find my own 'one true happiness.' The more I learn about you the more you inspire me.

"A growth in my body" sounds like a disease or something. Being pregnant is great. You make it sound so easy.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
