One True Love

I know it's hard to understand, when you don't have enough
her teer drops roll down to her lips, yes I know love is much
I don't escape very often, but I wanted too
it was ok but only the first time that I met you

Oh, you can be my one true love, or you can be a perfect stranger
intwined with the moon above, through winter our love is sober
I thought I heard you singing loud, thought I'd better listen
you can be my one true love, or you can be a perfect stranger

So I take lonely winter walks, the streets all pass me by
her spart of friendly love flows through me, and I don't know why
but if I speak the snow will freeze me in the curse of time
so I lay silent on my knees and let the time pass by
