One

It is only human

to give one chance.

For the divine

he knows no time.

One chance is, however

 how long it takes.

Make your mistakes.

Be still and know,

there is just that and so.

So to Know,

each chance,

marking the first one,

will be a step towards the last.

i liked this, simple and elegant and sort of melancholy. :)

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
