Only In My Dreams
You are the twinkle in my eye, the star
that lights the dark sky.
The flicker that now flames, my once
cold heart. Thank you for not playing
games from the start.
Instead of cries, I now feel the
butterflies.
Because of you, I feel brand new. I don't
care if your only in my dreams. I care only
that you're there.
You have given me hope, which was once lost.
Every night as I lay, I think of you,
although you're not real, and as weird as
it seems, you are real, if only in my
dreams.
