open

i meditate better with my eyes open...
open, window let the breeze flow in
open, hoping for a love that wont grow thin
open, mind and spirit, body and soul then
opens, an open space for your whole self to grow in
opening, lost memories can leave you
broken, cope when you let your energy rest
and let serenity soak in..
open the closet, grab a jacket and a close friend
open the door, walk outside and catch the cold wind
open conversation makes you laugh
while heading home
spend time with open palms, towards the sky asking for old sins
to be forgiven, and thrown out in the open
closed in? go to that place you desire the most
then open your heart, for this is where your home is.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
