    Poem Commentary

    This Poem is based on children in abusive situations.This particular inciddent would of sent my Dad to jail.Separated an entire family from it's brothers and sisters due to it be a large family.But on the same note no child should ever be abused to point they have a neardeath exsperience and see an Angel...So I chose merci at the age of seven.I thought about my mom and my brothers and sisters.Maybe If people see this they can find better answers for kids. A Seven yrs old is too young of an age to learn merci in this manner.The ironic part it was a drunken stooper that only took 15 minute.All i'm saying is think about your kids first before you fester in anger on a drunken or drug related stooper it changes lives.So when we are all in the flight of anger over the dishes not being done beware of meal God is serving that evening. you may not be that blessed.

    Open To Forgive

     I thought I might speak to all of you.
    I had a horrific childhood;It's very true.
    So full of unjustified issues,remorse,and pain.
    It render me helpless and made me feel insane.
    The only way to escape it's curse was to see the real.
    I sit before you beckoned to kneel.
    One night my Dad was drunk and hurt me badly.
    A merciful Angel appeared before me very sadly.
    The look on His face as I felt the presence in my Grace.
    The Angel merciful for both in A God forgiven place.
    Today after remembering the Angels' teachings.
    It was meant for All of us that Angel reaching...
    The forgiveness between both shown on a cold,cold,night.
    Being taught by that Angel that comforted me into the light.
    I wrote this passage to correct our inner fears...
    That you may not believe and cause more tears.
    It is all about Mercy handed to both for I returned to live.
    A remembrance of love that should make us all open to forgive.

    Very well done. Great message. I have been a foster parent for 24 years and I understand the depth of this write. Pain caused by a parent is difficult to deal with. I hope that time gives you peace and success. Keep up the good work. Thank you for you sharing.
