    Open Your Eyes

Open your eyes and see me.
I'm right here where I've always been.
I'm not the stone stepped over in the road of life.
But the flower yearning to be noticed.
I thought you knew me for who I am.

I spend my time wondering if you feel this heart.
Remember this faithful love held within.
My sadness has begun to surface.
Waiting to be replaced, with the joy I once knew.
Can you see this pain, look it's quite plain.

Open your eyes and see me.
Can't you look upon my tears.
Can you see this fading love.
    I wonder.
    Will you rescue me.

Will you rip my soul from this trembling body.
Shall I replace my love with hatred.
I wish you could look at me.
Falling from the edge of glory, just look you'll see.
Think about these lost dreams we used to talk about.

Open your eyes and see me.
Before I wither away, never to return.
Let your heart fill me again.
    Before its to late.
Feel my love, my sorrow, my pain.
Come back to me and we'll fix this life.
    And live once again................

pretty sick! it's very relateable, specially when its hard to deal with relationships. im share some way shape or form people can relate to this from any age and gender.

Some days life just sucks and then the clouds part, money falls from the sky and you remember why you fell in love with her to begin with........

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
