Twinkle, twinkle in my eye, I thought you were the perfect guy
Like a diamond in my heart, I thought we would never part
But that songs just a little rhyme, and here we are in real life
As the days keep passing by, wow time seems to really fly
Things get lost all the time, so here's a fairy tale in mind
Cinderella may have lost her shoe, but boy I lost my trust in you
I thought you were sweet, I thought you were kind
But that just turned to one big lie
