Pain Exposed
Gazing through a wooden frame,
reflection in a window pane.
Distorted image of past connection,
affection,
obsession,
rejection,
objection,
depression,
Pain exposed... by my reflection.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
