Ten years ago you left this earth
anguish and pain have felt their way
into my heart and soul everyday
The day before I held you tight
Knowing the end  was within sight
Wishing I could have had another day
to say the things I wanted to say
I miss you more and more each day
I wish I could see you to end this pain
You wouldn't believe the babies that have come
and soon there will be another one
Ten years ago seems like a lifetime
but I feel your presence and know its almost time
I give you this last goodbye
for I know time will soon pass me bye
and I will get to see you again on the other side
