Paper Thin

    Paper Thin

My skin is only paper thin

Cut me and I will spill everywhere

    Silence is golden yet

    Duct tape is silver

    Tear it from my mouth

    Take my mouth with it

My skin is only paper thin

Slap me and I will open like a window

    A window through which,

    Against my better judgment,

    My deepest desires

    My darkest hatred

And my silliest dreams can be seen

My skin is only paper thin

I heard today it will rain

I hope it washes me away

Personally, I hope the rain never washes you away, for then we'll be deprived of reading more of your poetry. This is very good:) hope you keep writing.

    Well thank you.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
