    Paths of Ritan Park

    Paths of Ritan Park

     Ritan! Through your paths

I desperately walk not fearing going astray in them.

I hide behind your tress, trying, from my shadow

    That haunts me,

    To hide

    II

It's in your paths, Ritan, that I try

To my path find. I run from my shadow,

It frightens me, chases me, haunts me.

Yet, Ritan! I loose from myself and only meet me again

In the lap of my shadow that does not

    Stop following me.

    II

    Ritan! Behind every step

That I walk through your paths, I let a dream

That I thought it can live in you and in every one of your

Curves. A sadness I hide. Your beauty, Ritan!

Happiness could not to my heart

    Return.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
