    Pensive Gaze

    As I gaze at the full moon
    it's like magic in the night
    reflecting all its beauty
    as it enchants me with its light

    I see it's similar to your love
    captivating miraculously my repressed mind
    leading me to happy dreams
    and vanishing the problems I may find

    You make me feel strong
    alleviating softly my broken heart
    always forgiving anything I do wrong
    tenderly loving me since the start

    As I gaze at the full moon
    it makes me think of you
    taking me higher to sudden bliss
    elated, wishing your love is true

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
