Perpendicular Life (Shape)

Mami and papi and baby make three
reaching sides of a three-sided tree
oedipal winds ripple from leaves
triangular branches formulate
dissimilitude within nature
horizontal lines connect
lifes turns circumduct
deep mirrored sight
ever unburdened
sight converted
perfect place
my position
right space
all settled
buried
am
I

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
