    Perseverance

     The meanderings of a wounded mind,
    a soul infested by faceless fears-
    hear their whispers expressed by tears.
    Symphony-lyrical
    voices sing;
    how it entertains
    a cruel and demented mind;
    this trial and tribulation
    must be overcome.
    Do not speak
    nor intercede-
    this path is narrow,
    a tread for one.
    Make your way
    as I must mine:
    I will overcome.
    I will dispel this pain.
    Inner strength
    can guide this belief.
    if you doubt
    so be your will;
    I choose to make confidence
    my self-belief.
    Though doubt
    may slow my stride
    it is but a temporary
    state of mind.

    Though doubt Indeed "may slow my stride it is but a temporary state of mind" Great write. Love it an can relate... life can be so hard some times. But indever to Persever.. Got too Some have a long road ahead of them...

    You want to know something Blue............ The fact is we all might doubt...... But God knows and we have to stand in such a faith with His love ...... And doing all things in this love never feeling cheated will move you and take you to places you have never seen............ red....

    True. Think like a victim and it is what you will become. In this poem it is like the mind knows that what it sees is what will become. So it makes the best of the given and seizes the opportunity to defeat doubt from every angle possible. Well stated blue.
