    Poem Commentary

    We tend to think the same old thing.
    Might we find a new road to travel?

    PERSPECTIVE


    When the Spirit is set Free
    We call it - Death, do we not?
    Yet - Shouldn't that be called - Birth?

    When the Spirit is trapped in materiality
    We     call that - Birth, do we not?
    Yet - Shouldn't that be called - Death?

    Might we have this Birth and Death thing
    Absolutely turned around?

    Or, is it only a matter of
      P E R S P E C T I V E ?

    In the words of Oma De Sala, "When the mind is enlightened, the spirit is freed, and the body matterse not." Your poem sparked that in my mind. I like the spin you put on birth and death. Reminds me of the bible talking about rejoicing in death, and mourning in birth.

    We believe stuff it makes no sense to believe. I truly think this was supposed to be death when spirit 'dies' in matter.
