    Phoenix Rising

    We are two phoenix rising
From the ashes of our broken hearts
    Flaming spirits
    Set to score blazing trails
    Through the night sky
We are mighty; we are strong
No one can hold us down
    Defeated though we may seem
    Nothing and no one
    Can extinguish our embers
For the core of our existence is strong
They being forged within the celestial fires
    Of our Almighty God
We are the sparks of life, love, truth, hope, and charity
Fanned by the hand of the Anointed One
Guided by His commands and tender mercies
    Our flames shall last forever
    Stretching forth through eternity
    We are phoenix rising!

I really like your presentation the imagery and the plot is well taken all in all this is a good read. Let me answer your message while I'm here: You wonder why I chose you to be on my circle of friends. Well most of my friends have followed me from other sites and one of them suggested that I read some of your written words. I was impressed by what I read so I clicked on the friend request link. I'm glad you joined my little group of over 400. The written material on this site is fantastic and it will take me a long time to get around to everyone but I'll persevere. Thanks for sharing and caring. LOL, BDC

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
