pictures do say more

I flip through your pictures
they say more than a photo can say
from under the sheets of gothic metal
such endearing sweetness portrays
colors illuminating around your face
places more than a vintage presentation
an underlining of a passion conflicting
in a branded spiritual containment
I applaud your gifted poetic insights
as it heightens your readers to the debths
of a purity within your pastels and "vivid-ness"
can only say that a beautiful heart has kept
in a safe way tucked with ribbon bows of silk
heavily guarded by the thorns of a rose
how could one see what they spread in pictures
as others could see them as brave and bold

nice write.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
