    Plastic

What do you want from me

You treat me like a member of the Heart

Like something you don’t want to replace

When the sting of loneliness hits

    You heat things up

    Get close

    Learn my sorrows

    Hold my hand

    Draw me in

Till I start attaching myself to you

    When I cry your name

    Louder than any other’s

Just as I begin to trust you

    Let you in

    You disappear

    Hide

    I move on

Just as I think I’m fine

    You reappear

Thinking you can keep my attention

Pick up where you left me

    No not this time

    Away with you

Your a complete waste of my Hearts time

    How could you

    How dare you

    How selfish

    -Fin-

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
