    Playground in my mind 8-15-07

     Put on your boots and raincoat
    and let's go out to play
    the sun is out,the air is crisp
    and it's a brand new day

    Slide down a ray of sunshine 
    and climb up a rainbow tree
    then we can meet on the other side
    where our hearts and minds are free
    we can live within our dreams 
    and walk beneath the sea

    Laughter seems to fill the air
    a musical sort of sound
    we all have wings and fly so high
    our feet don't touch the ground

    So grab your boots and raincoat
    and let's go out to play
    the sun is out, the air is crisp
    and it's a brand new day

    The dogs and cats wear party hats
    and bows tied to their tails
    the birds and bees are polka dot
    and we all have racing snails
    we'll go on trips to magic lands 
    upon the backs of whales

    We all will have the joy and love
    that we have always sought
    in a world where children hold the keys
    and grownups must be taught

    So grab your boots and raincoats
    and let's go out to play
    the moon is out, the air is clean 
    and it's a brand new day

    Let's make a world of imagination
    a place that all will like
    you can bring your mom and your dad
    and bring your uncle mike
    we'll laugh and play and roll around
    and even ride our bikes

    God is the creator of all that is
    he created you and me
    and when we create we mirror him
    and he likes what he can see.
