Biography

One of the things that I find so intriguing about writing poetry is that I can string words together and use them to shape something beautiful, a work of art, that helps me deal with the things I have going on in my life that are brimming to the limit of my mind. I hope that other people will see my work and even if they don't understand exactly what I mean, maybe they will get to take away some kind of inspiration or form of hope from it. (A lot of what I work on currently is stuff that I would rather be vague about. A lot of my meaning is tightly locked inside the poem and I'm not sure if I want to bring it out yet).

**NOTE** I have taken some of my poems off because I've submitted them to TeenInk and I forgot that they check the internet to see if they have been plagiarized or not. They would assume that the ones I've sent are stolen if I leave them up, so for now I guess I'll have to put up my less favorite ones. Let's see if I get published. One is already on TeenInk Raw. This does not mean it has actually been published. It's just up on the site and people need to vote and stuff in order for it to get noticed. Please check it out if you can!! I've posted it anonymously but here's the link:

**ANOTHER NOTE** Yeah, so I've kind of given up on actually being published on TeenInk RAW because it's more of a popularity contest than a talent contest...they even let you vote for your own poem once a day, and I really don't have the time to just go online every day and poke all my friends and facebook buddies and force them to vote over and over again. Too much effort and I'm just kinda like...meh.....

But yeah, I also do art....I will post a link to my deviantart.com account once I actually put some art up. For now I haven't done so....trying to get a hold of my scanner again.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
