Biography

Polar explorer 1969-1979 Antarctica and Arctic.
Naval architect trained at MIT. Spent 34 years in the Coast Guard
Designer of riverboats and barges on the Mississippi River and its tributaries. Alpenhorn was carved with natural view out my back window showing creatures and flowers and Northern Lights.
Home in Alaska near big glacier and Northern Virginia near DC.
Now serve as Assistant Professor of Risk Mgmt at GWU in DC.
