Biography

I began writing stories in the third grade and received comments like, "...unstructured..., ...too mature a subject matter..., ... no basis in reality..." High school was more forgiving. Viet Nam sidetracked me from writing, but not life. Life lead to a PTSD program. I won't say I've resolved Viet Nam, I just don't let it control my life
Physical damage from Viet Nam meant an early retirement as a freelance photographer. I still enjoy using my cameras though I don't go through a hundred rolls a day; usually two or three a month now.
The last ten years, I've been doing more writing and realizing how enjoyable it can be. I recently sent a few things to my sister and she told me about this site, saying I should get them published. I'll find out if anyone outside of my family agrees.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
