Biography

As a third generation family poet following in the tradition of a mother and grandmother who wrote hundreds of their own, I have just tried to reflect and chronicle inner thoughts as well as outward experiences. I have also written many based upon the Holy Scripture's. I have loved life and been near to death and I am working doggedly toword better health once again. Just a happily married old hippie, biker and Christian who doesn't give up. I have out three books of poetry and short stories as well as inclusion in dozens of anthologies. Hi Tierra, been years since I've been on O.P. Hope all is well with you. My computer crashed and I got another laptop but it doesn't have Microsoft Word on it so can't do anything with my poetry anymore. Still hear from Oren and on rare occasions Sam Hyde but that's about it. I don't know what ever happened to Big Daddy Wm. Cash as haven't heard from him these past few years and got no reply from any e-mails. I'm not writing much any more as had been real sick these later years and am doing some better now but still not great. Blessings, Whiskers

Good to hear back , I wasn't for sure if anyone was still Active here. Same here. Hopefully I can peek in from time to time ... Oh Wow ! I hope BDC is ok??? Does he still have his Poetry site up? Awww I'm Glad you still hear from Oren..he is such a sweetheart❤ How is Sam doing these days? Give them both my best.. Terribly sorry to hear that you've been real Sick hun..Terry & I shall keep you in prayer.. I pray your wife has been well? Give her my best too. We're both good.health wise... Terry. Was in a horrific Big Rig Rollover 3years ago.. Thankful and Blessed he's Alive. Do you still have same Email address? I shall keep in touch via email.. Love & Light 🌹

No, it seemed that Cash disappeared and his FOW was down too if I remember right. He hadn't been doing well and was terribly depressed after his dog Bobby died so I figured he must have gone on to his reward. Sam was doing good when last we talked but have drifted apart as only hear about once a year now. Glad to hear the angels were watching over Terry in that big roll over! My guardian angel saved me more than once too. Yes, my e-mail address is still the same. I'm old school and don't change things if I don't have to. Lol weldon@earthlink.net Appreciate the prayers. How is your daughter doing? Any better these later years? Hope so. Arline is doing pretty well but a few years ago she slipped on wet leaves in a parking lot and badly broke both leg bones at the ankle and had to have surgery, a plate, and seven screws to put her back together plus lots of therapy to get her walking again. So that will always cause some pain daily till we get our resurrection bodies. My mom is still living but the past three years now in a nursing home because at her age, 95, she finally needed much more care than we could provide 24/7. She has really gone downhill this year but praying for her best. That's about it from the Searles peanut gallery. Lol. Blessings to you both, Whiskers.

Yes I agree. I can use the inspiration as I struggle with healing. I lost a lot of memory and find it an effort to find the right words since nearly dying for so long. It feels good to be leaving a life of hermitude and begin to socialize within reason again. Blessings brother. I'll be off here for a day as going for treatment now. Later.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
