Biography

I am a chronic pain sufferer since 1993. In 1973 I had a horrific accident which caused me constant pain. I didn't let that mishap stop me from jogging, playing softball, working, coaching Little League, and the things that normal people do. In 1993 I forgot one time to lift properly which caused a loud snapping sound. Long story short, in one instant I went from being a productive worker, from being a 3rd baseman to being an old man. The back injury ruined my life and I have been in constant agony since then. I have to take methadone to kill the pain, and various other meds for depression, hbp, etc. I have been writing for 44 years. I will be posting all types of prose or poetry from the 60's up until the present. I am big on Christian Poetry. Lately, besides writing my own prose, I have been collaborating on a few poems with Skymist2. I sincerely hope that you enjoy what you read from my contributions. God bless. Sam Hyde
