Biography

I started writing poetry when my 18 year old daughter died in an accident in Florida.Have never stopped,just added art also. It all saved me in so many diffrent ways ,and when my son joined the army and served in Iraq and is now Afganistan ,I again turned to my poems and art. I have lived in America,andThe Canary Islands,but I call the Caribbean my home. Born here on a small island,and even though I travel far.Saba is my home and my heart.My poetry is about passion ,anger, love ,pain,and also people who have been in my life,or are still in my life.

My love for poetry never ends.It brings with it much emotion and passion for life. I work in a Museum,and love my job .meeting people.learning about their lives and where they are from. Talking history .poetry art. These things fill me with boundless joy ,no money can buy.
