I grew up in a family of 7, 2 my Mom had and 5 adopted, there were some good times and bad times.The one thing I remember, that will always stay with me, is my grandfather reading from this HUGE bible, which he was reading every time my family would visit. My Grandma sitting on her white old fashioned BIG stool in the kitchen, cutting her collard greens and sweet potatoes, talking in her thick West Indian accent, which of course, we kids could never understand!! I often wondered if GOD ever answered my Gramps, he must have, cause he blessed him with life until the ripe old age of 100! I have two Moms, and both of them have adopted me and I have enough love for the both of them! I look up to them both, one, Stella, for her no nonsense and her never ending love, my second Mom, Delain'a, for her open heart and always taking care of me, even when I don't want it! Oh, almost forgot my Dad, got love for him too. Even with living amongst all my family, nephews, nieces included, it's amazing, how loud quiet can be!! Ya know, I'm told life is like a bowl of cherries, always filled with pits! I like to think of mine as a hot air balloon, only mine is filled with everyone's air, only it ain't coming from no balloon!
