    Portrait Of A Guiding Star

     I am the sun,
    So bright and beautiful,
    Very hot and exuberant,
    My rays are resilient,
    I bring light to the world
    A world so corrupt, yet i am brilliant.
    As the world turns and the sky stay lit,
    As the temperature rise to form heat waves
    I take upon the sky, heavenly abroad,
    To those that need me, they look up to see,
    A golden bright image, which portrays as me,
    The one self guided figure,you see before you
    Has a God-like power, which does what none other do
    Amazing as it seems, thorough but blinding to see,
    The one captivating image, so vivid, it ME...

    nice flow great use of words feeling the symbolism of the sun i like this piece alot

    Although I know this may not have been your intention, I feel like this poem writes you off as arrogant. I think you intended to come off as a leader, or as inspiring but I think you took it too far. Otherwise, it's a great poem, and it's written beautifully. I liked that you did use yourself as a direct relation in the poem, showing that it meant something to you as more than just the author.

    I feel you Jazzy but no it was not of that nature at all. This piece is to pretty much reveal the leader & strong willed side of me but not only me, to others just like me which present that light to many others as well. That includes you too my brillliant friend..
