I look at you
and those eyes of blue
with wonder and amaze
when my eyes catch yours
I'm hypnotized
with just one little gaze
I start to think
of the things you'll do
and the person that you'll be
a doctor, teacher, or architect
we'll have to wait and see
i'll do my best to raise you
and teach you wrong from right
show you how to treat someone
and how to stand and fight
for those things that you believe in
and for those of whom you care
I hope you'll have a giving soul
and won't be afraid to share
to me you walk on water
you came from up above
and no matter what you do in life
you'll always have my love
