    Poem Commentary

    Time is not something to be taken for granted. If you have ever been in jail, then you know what I mean. Time does not speed up or slow down for noone. That's why time is so precious. You don't see them passing out whippings for crimes.(Police brutality do not count.) Time hurts most. Try spending time without your special someone.

    Precious Time by King A.L.F.

    Time... Sometimes you can flow so slow when me and my love are apart,

    and yet you seems to speed up when me and my love are together.

    I wish you would stand still and let me enjoy this moment with my love.

    We are not doing anything wrong, because loving her is so right.

    I know nothing lasts forever, but could you just give us a delayed year.

    We won't waste it; only taste it.

    Like a mouthful of Christmas Sugar Cookies with colorful sweet sprinkles. Oh how sweet it is.

    So Time, please give me time to be with my lady?

    It replied,"Time waits for No Man." 

    So let's not waste Precious Time.

    Time is precious and moves all to fast, so it should never be wasted or squandered. Our precious moments should be savored, so that they linger in the mind and cling to our hearts. Great write.........E

    An interesting muse on the theory of relativity. Yet, it is the flow of time that gets us to prioritize the imortant and remove it from the flooding tyranny of the urgent. I like this first post of yours. Harv
