    wide open and vulnerable
    the heart frozen in fear still beats
    the love has not for a second stopped
    fear is still wrapped around me
    crying because I am afraid
    crying because I am not
    in your arms
    needing you
    needing your voice
    needing your touch
    needing all of you
    with all the fear
    all the pain
    all the crying
    to be a bad dream
    washed away by a hug
    and your smile

    Speaking of vulnerability and emotion with such honesty is not only original, but it is almost unheard of. The poem speaks for itself as to the message... it speaks volumes.
