projected hatred , misguided demons

Projected hatred

I'm not the hatred you portray me as.
I'm in love with your family member.
yet you wont let me in .
seems as if my best isn't enough.
I began to see why they have it so hard.
I give love unconditional,
for this I'm returned hatred.
I don't come from the same region.
but love is universal language.
wondering why all the suspicion.
when your own lives have been a mess.
grudges held way too long
projecting hatred onto the unsuspecting.
wicked trickery, deceict
trying to turn light to darkness.
hypocrites proclaiming to be of the creator.
Happiness for someone else is like poison to you.
I am a great person, who has had hard times
yet my wounds i wont conceal ,
I know they must heal.
I may not be financially rich,
but I am faithful, spiritually rich.
Each time , i get one step closer,
it's nine steps back wards.
Does not a man reap, what he sows ?
the good life you want for yourself,
does not another deserve as well.
seems you have to miss your well,
before , you realize the greater purpose.
interferring with destiny.
holding back angels of light.
let us teach each other,
strengthen what has worn .

Wow, sounds as if your lover is caught between his rock and a hard-headed ass family!! Good luck and Ihope he chooses well! The Bible says a man leaves his mother and clings to his wife.

Your comment might have reign true in biblical days, however it seems as if we live in a different time period where grandparents raise grandchildren, where parents have no control over their own children, and families who are single households own the majority of society, which might have something to do with the reason some sons haven't forged their own homes with their own wife.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
