    • I've been gone for quit some time but I'm back and ready to write more poetry.

    Puppet

    You came to me in a dream,
    maybe it was real
    hell i dont know anymore,
    I seem to be your pawn,
    Your go to gal when your down,
    What if this time I say "NO"....

    Well I guess I'm just your puppet
    you hold on a string,
    Cuz I thought you really loved me,
    but look at what thoughts can do.

    You call me up in a drunken stuper,
    just like old times, you say,
    but what of me?
    What if i want more?
    One min you say you love me,
    the next you take it back,
    you tell me i can never have all of you.
    Well boy let me tell you,
    I'm all yours,
    heart and soul.

    Well I guess I'm just your puppet
    you hold on a string
    cuz     I thought you really loved me
    but look at what thoughts can do.

    I'm just you puppet!!

    I really like this one because it is something that happens all too often. Love and the way you react is all too unpredictable. Great write...........E

    The concept is all too real, I have felt like that ... the knife cut them easily, learning to walk again wasn't as hard as One might think, a happier walk even if alone for a bit. Point well stated, move on, you're deserving of better, be well, thanks for sharing
