Put My Gloves Away

Put My Gloves Away

Put away my gloves

Match over

I won

I killed someone today

My actions

Can’t be undone

Unforgiving

His soul wandered out

I watched it scream

It shouts

Cursing Me

Flailing about

Pathetically reaching out

For his cold body

I wanted

Offered to

Shove him back in it

Go live again

But the soul gave up

Too easily I think

Watched him fall

Down to hell

In flames He went out
