" Drugs, Drugs, and More Drugs"

It is always there in the back of my mind like a forever burning dream,

wanting, longing to take me in once more again, was not dying enough,

I gave you my body, soul, and everything I had, yet you want something more,

You can not take anything else from for there is nothing more to give,

I chased you when I was awake, and even more when I was asleep,

I would dream over and over again I would win a never ending supply,

I know it took a way all the family, friends, and meaningful relationships that I had ever had,

I thought it would be enough even when it made me stone cold dead,

I stole from every single one I met, even those who helped me in the end,

I loved nothing except that little pill to tell you the truth, nothing else mattered,

I wanted to disappear, to never be apart of this World, that was the goal I made,

I never wanted anything more than to be numb and not feel anything at all,

To feel even a tenth of what I used to would be a terrible and awful mistake,

I would take a bullet to my head before I make that same exact fate,

My mother, father, brother, and sister were all the same as me, a drug addict with no self esteem,

They will all die, and most them already paid the final price of death to get where they are today,

The only ones left are my sister and I and that will not be the same,

We all came into this World not feeling all this pain, and enjoyed being alive,

What happened to us when that pill is so much more important than the family we all once had,

We lost ourselves in a life full of problems, worries and senseless things that made us sad.
