    "All About Ira"

    In my darkest hour,
    He has always been there.
    Reaching out his hand,
    Letting me know he cares.
    Always more than willing,
    To lend a listening ear,
    Giving me his all,
Saying what I need to hear.
    Ira was right on time,
    As a friend should be.
    He never exchanged a word,
But only continued to comfort me.
    Even if someday
    Ira and I must part,
I pray he'll keep me hidden,
    Deep within his heart.
    In my immediate future,
    It's Ira's picture I see
And nothing can hold us back,
Not if it's truly meant to be!!

Pure genius - I love the flow - rhyme and reason - rhyming is a thing of beauty to me as well - especially when it maintains the concepts / meaning of the title to express the subject in such a joyful manner as this - some people just like to use words to describe a feeling, paint a picture, and etc. that don't rhyme - I love it when it rhyme - flow - and express the vividness which is what you done here - continue to flow - how you know - if that is your style so be it ...it doesn't make you lesser of a poet to me... A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
