"Christmas Over There"

They stand with much pride and
their hearts are filled with gold.
They watch and protect us, they
are so strong and bold.

They maybe our mother, they
maybe our father our daughter
or our son. They won’t come
home until their courageous
job is done.

They fight for honor, they fight
for us. They have much love
for our country and this is how
its express.

So lets not forgot them as we
get on our knees to pray.
For the tears and love we have
for them, this is how its display.

David A. Bernard
