"Crazy"

Dazed and confused,
As I try to figure out,
What everything’s supposed to mean,
What’s it all about?

Locked inside these walls,
I still sit here all alone,
Fighting not to go in sane,
Afraid of the unknown.

Lost my way, no turning back,
How did I get here?
Downward spiral, pit of hell,
Whom is it I shall fear?

Lost in thought, the fight begins,
I struggle to break free,
Prisoner of my own damn mind,
For which there is no key.

Schizophrenic, paranoid?
No one seems to know,
All these voices in my head,
Why won’t they just go?

With each new day more slips away,
It’s harder to hold on,
I’m letting go to stop the pain,
Reality is gone…

Nicely done. Loneliness at its worst is devastating, giving your mind time to reflect in ways that are not always healthy. Good write.

well written, not sane or insane just unsane.you are the key.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
