"EARTH BOUND"

Earth Bound

Some believe and some do not
Spirits, ghosts, hauntings
A scarey subject, some don't want to get caught

In the middle of things that go bump in the night
It frightens so many and many are eager
To go out and search, to fight the fight

I'm a believer of many things, spirits are one
One of many, the supernatural and omens
I find all these spooky things really quite fun

I grew up in a house with a haunting
My dad brought the spirit home with things he found
Scarey at first, but it became less daunting

After finding that she was nice and meant no harm
She killed herself for a tragic reason
She jumped off the cliffs and bought the farm

Haunted houses are such a cliche'
The big spooky vacant Victorian on the corner
Never looking occupied today

Wouldn't you like to take a peek
Maybe go inside on Halloween
Look around and play hide and seek?

Take a recorder to see if we can get some sound
EVP's they're called
Try to find some souls that are really earth bound

Call me crazy for believing things I can not see
But that is who I am, like it or not
This is how I let my soul loose and free

Living is tough to handle, it's the hard part
Day to day pain, physical and emotional
Dying is the easy way. this I believe from my heart of hearts!

I like the whole idea of this poem. it seems to mirror the idea of faith.

if crazy is believeing in things we cannot see.. then I too am a whack job!.. we can all just ride the CRAZY TRAIN~ Great Poem.. Great Story!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
