Poem Commentary

People are unique and special. The human race continues to strive at finding some good in everyone. My trust is totally in God for everything I need. The things I do not have are things of little or no value to me. My soul and the legacy of a righteous lifestyle are of the most value to me at this phase of my life. My example of positive character, solid morals, and unconditional love to my children and my grandchildren are attributes that will keep them well grounded throughout their lives.

"Eyes watched the moon" by Herbert Hewliss Brown

I watched the moon riding high in the sky against a cloudless scene. I watched the moon I listened and for the first time heard everything. I watched the moon move silently I listened in my mind I could hear God speaking at the beginning of time.

God gave us the sun and the moon and they both ride by. God created the clouds and the rain yes, God has to cry. To watch the moon is a mystery of Gods wonder and creation. We all must turn our face to God to heal our nation.

God keeps the sun and moon high in the sky-hot, cool both so bright. The same God protects us from danger and harm and keeps us safe every night.

Eyes watch the sun and the moon and God watches us no matter where we are, inside every one of us is a bright and morning star!

Eyes watched the moon until the sun comes up. Each day I pray to God in God, I put my trust!

Very inspirational. It is in the "simple" things that we can see God more clearly. Those things that we take for granted each and every day are evidence of how magnificent God is... I really enjoyed this one and the the jab of never forgetting this one reaffirmed. God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

OK! You are very insightful, delightful, cheerful and joyful! You mentioned "God" 4 times in your comment. Therefore, I give you 4 words from my heart in sincere thanks for reading my poems!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
