    • well long time no posts, but im back to share with you all

"How the west was won" 8-24-08

    I'm knock,knock,knocking on heavens door
    but no one answers
    there's no one home

So I slip a note in the box........it reads.....
"I dont know how to tell you
that there's a fire in my heart
but not much left to burn
    I long to run away
but I've nowhere left to turn

Every time I close my eyes I see you
    but your eyes,
they always look right through me
I guess now I can see,
thats the way it's got to be

    I say,"it doesn't matter all that much"
as I stand outside myself and cry
because I've learned to run so fast
that the hurt cant catch me.....and soon.....
I'll be past the point of even caring anymore

    Running west.......
as the sun runs from me.

What a haunting tale of loneliness and desire. Like the fictional Rhett Butler, frustration erases the latter, if not the former.

now if I could only find a publisher interested in my stuff and the transformative tale they tell of my time I spent

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
